“Self-experience” refers to the conscious process of dealing with your own thinking patterns, feeling experiences and relationship behavior without having to have a state of suffering.
In doing so, the therapist directs the perception to your needs and abilities, to personal values and thus also to your individual development possibilities. Especially important for me is the “treasure hunt” for resources and potentials that could help you with the processing of your topics.
Through self-experience, it is possible to get more distance from your own subjects and explore new courses of action!
Within the framework of the basic psychotherapeutic/ psychological training (“Proprädeutikum”), self-experience is an important step towards identity formation as a therapist and can be completed with me (also blocked in double hours).
